Cross Country Trail Run and Day in the Country
A Fundraising event that benefits the Foundation and it's programs, celebrates North Caddo farming communities, and connects participants to local food and healthy eating.
Date & Starting Time: Saturday, March 7th 7:30 am at Lynn Farms, 11580 Hwy 3049, Gilliam, LA.
10 Mile run starts at 7:30 a.m.
3 Mile run starts at 7:45 a.m.
1 mile fun run starts at 8:00 a.m.
Early Registration is $35 through February 15th
$40 from February 16th - March 6th.
Race day Registration is $45.
Register Early! No shirts guaranteed to registrants after February 21st.
T-shirts & Race Packet Pick-Up: Every pre-registered participant will receive an original BackRoads and Bayous t-shirt, food ticket, and goodies given by businesses, friends and community of the Ross Lynn Foundation.
Packet pick up will be held at Sportspectrum
Thursday, March 5th from 12 pm- 7 pm and
Friday, March 6th from 10 am-5:30 pm.
You may also pick up your packet on Race Day at the Race Site at 6:30am.
Awards: Overall Male & Female finishers in the 10-mile and 3 mile race will receive a framed print of Ross Lynn’s Photography.
1st male & female in each age group will receive a wooden medallion with the race logo.
Age Groups: 13 - under, 14-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+
Trail Run Series: This is the final race in the trail run series. If you have run all three races for the series, Trail Run at Bistineau , Monkey Trails, and the Backroads & Bayous Trail run you will be eligible for a trail run series award.
The Top 10 male and female with the most points at the end of the series will receive a special award.
You must run the same distance at each race to be eligible for a series award.
***If you are planning on running and listening to music, you must wear headphones. You can carry your phone, small radio, etc., but you must listen to the music through your headphones. No headphones, no music!!***
This is a SRM rule, no exceptions. You will be disqualified if you are caught playing your music without your headphones.
